The Fairfield County incident occurred in Wilton on Friday, March 29. At approximately 1:30 a.m. that morning, 45-year-old Eduard Abukhovich was speeding, driving his gray 2022 Volvo XC90 north on Route 7 (Danbury Road) when he was pulled over. Man Struck, Killed Walking In Travel Lanes On CT Roadway Connecticut State Police are asking for witnesses after a 53-year-old man was struck and killed while walking in the travel lanes of I-91. The crash occurred in North Haven around 9:15 p.m., Monday, April 1 on I-91 northbound adjacent to Exit 9. Connecticut State Police reported that Arthur Taylor, of New Haven, was walking in the travel lanes when a 2020 Ford Explorer struck him. Taylor was thrown into the grass center median where he was pronounced dead on the scene, state police said. Cape Cod Toddler Attacked By Dog Airlifted To Boston Hospital A 2-year-old child is undergoing emergency treatment at a Boston hospital after they were attacked by a dog on Sunday, March 31, authorities announced.  Wellfleet police said a pit bull mix bit the toddler just after 2 p.m. at a home on East Hill Road.  Paramedics rushed the child to Cape Cod Gateway Airport, where a MedFlight pilot awaited to take them to Boston.  The child's injuries are not considered life-threatening. Police did not say how the dog was connected to the child.
