The incident took place in New Haven County in Milford on Thursday, Nov. 16 in the parking lot of the boat ramp area on Naugatuck Avenue. The pursuit began when a Milford police officer noticed the vehicle with no registration plate and the owner Jeffrey Yu, age 28, of Milford. Yu fled from officers and drove over deployed stop sticks. It happened on Thursday, Aug. 3 at approximately 5:10 p.m. in Darien, according to the Darien Police Department. Police originally flagged the situation when they saw a car, driven by 36-year-old Norwalk resident Wilmar Berrios-Cruz, traveling on Post Road without a front license plate. Dwayne Smith, 19, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, Oct. 28, after a pharmacist in the central Greenwich area contacted the Greenwich Police and reported suspicious activity, said Captain Mark E. Marvin Lopez, 40, of Stamford, was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 19, after Wilton Police stopped him on Danbury Road driving a white 2004 Ford Escape that the temporary registration tag came back for a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, said Wilton Police. Greenwich Man Driving 'Unreasonably Fast' Was Under Influence, Police Say A Greenwich man was nabbed for DUI after police spotted him driving "unreasonably fast." Richard Luke Lamanna, 23, was arrested around 1:24 a.m. Monday on Round Hill Road after police spotted him driving 50 mph in a 30 mph zone, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.  During the stop, officers could smell alcohol on Lamanna's breath and he was asked to take a series of field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said. He was charged with driving an unregistered vehicle, traveling unreasonably fast, and DUI.  Lamanna was released to a friend on $100 bond.
