CT Man Nabbed Driving 118 MPH On I-84, Police Say A Connecticut man was nabbed allegedly driving 118 mph in a 65 mph zone on a busy interstate roadway. The incident occurred in Tolland County at 9:40 p.m., Monday, Aug. 12, in the eastbound lanes of I-84 in Vernon near Exit 66. According to the Connecticut State Police, a trooper assigned to Troop C in Tolland was engaged in proactive traffic enforcement efforts on I-84 when he spotted a white Toyota Camry traveling at a high rate of speed in the left lane of three.  State police said that using his laser, the trooper determined that the Toyota was traveling at 118 mph in a posted 65 …

Dylan Herbert, age 32, of Wilton, was charged around 12:15 a.m. on Sunday, July 7, in New Canaan during a selective enforcement in the area of Old Stamford Road and Jelliff Mill Road. Here's How Many Crashes CT State Police Responded To Over Thanksgiving Holiday Connecticut State Police troopers dished out nearly 3,500 tickets and investigated two fatalities as they conducted special enforcement details over the Thanksgiving holiday. Beginning at midnight on Tuesday, Nov. 20 and spanning through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25, Connecticut State Police supplemented their normal patrol force with additional troopers who were targeting motorists on local roads and highways.
