James L. Perkins of Port Chester, 83, Greenwich Firefighter James Lewis Perkins, 83, born to Frederick and Charlotte Lewis Perkins of Port Chester, died on Tuesday, Nov. 12  in Fort Pierce, Florida. He graduated from Port Chester High School in 1954 and married the former Dorothy Rennie in 1957. They were married for many years and have four daughters, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Jim became an electrician in 1960 after completing a five-year apprenticeship and was employed by the Port Chester Electric Company. He achieved the Order of De Molay in 1954 and remained a  Masonic Lodge member his entire life. With firef…

Town Of Greenwich Employee On Leave After Taking Photos Of Dead Woman Just hours after the identity of the Westchester woman found bound and stuffed in a suitcase was released, Town of Greenwich officials are confirming that an employee is on paid administrative leave for taking photos of the murder victim and the crime scene and sharing them.
