Fighting Couple On Side Of Road Nabbed With Drugs, Police Say
An argument on the side of the road led to the arrest of a couple on drug charges in Fairfield County.
Robert Franklin, 31 and Tanaisha Burrus, 27, both of Bridgeport, were arrested around 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 1, after the department received a report of an argument that had taken place on the side of the road between a man and a woman, said Monroe Police Lt. Stephen Corrone.
The vehicle was reported to be a white Chevy Malibu with a Maine registration plate. Monroe officers located the vehicle in the parking lot of the Mobil Gas Station, at 405 Route 111, he said…
