The incident took place on Tuesday, March 30, in Bridgeport, when Task Force officers from the CSP Gang Unit and FBI Safe Streets received credible information that occupants of a black Nissan Maxima with a paper registration tag out of Texas were seen at the Sunny Side Inn located at 174 Lake Street in Bridgeport with what appeared to be a firearm, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management. Second Suspect Charged In Homicide At Inn In Bridgeport A second man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Bridgeport man last year. Donnell Williams 28, of Bridgeport, was arrested Wednesday, Feb. 27, for allegedly taking part in the murder of Alfanso Anderson on Feb. 26, 2018, at the Sunny Side Inn, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. ID Released For Victim Of Fairfield County Motel Homicide A 48-year-old man has been identified as the city's fourth homicide victim of the year, according to Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. Alfanso Anderson, 48, of Ezra Street in Bridgeport, was found dead Monday at a local inn, Harris said. Police received a call around 11:30 p.m. Monday of shots fired at the Sunny Side Inn, 145 Lake St., Harris said. When officers responded, they found Anderson dead, who had been shot at least once. Police did not release any additional information regarding the shooting or what might have led to the violence.

Man Found Shot To Death In Fairfield County Motel An unidentified man was found dead in a motel room in Bridgeport, the fourth homicide of the year. Police received a call around 11:30 p.m. Monday of shots fired at the Sunny Side Inn, 145 Lake St., said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. When officers arrived on scene they found a middle-aged black male who suffered at least one gunshot wound, said Harris. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, he added.
