Fatal Crash Update: 30-Year-Old From Stratford Remembered As 'Superb Athlete' A 30-year-old Fairfield County man killed in a crash is being remembered as a superb athlete and devoted father. Marc "Markey" Desruisseaux,  a graduate of Stratford High School, was killed on Thursday, April 13 at the intersection of Main Street and West Board Street when his motorcycle was hit by a Corvette, according to the Stratford Police. Teen Charged With Attacking School Police Officer At High School, Police Say An 18-year-old Fairfield County teen has been arrested for attacking a school resource officer at an area high school. Stefan Thomas, of Stratford, was arrested following an altercation at Stratford High School on Thursday, Feb. 13, said Stratford Police Capt. Frank Eannotti. According to Eannotti, during the incident Thomas refused to leave the school property when directed by the school staff and the school resource officer. This Fairfield County Middle School Named Tops In State A Fairfield County school has been named the state’s “middle school of the year” by the Connecticut Association of Schools. Earlier this year, Principal Bryan Darcy of David Wooster Middle School in Stratford was notified by the organization that the school had been named a finalist for the award.
