Stamford Man Nabbed With Gun After Tip From Resident, Police Say An 18-year-old Fairfield County man was allegedly busted with a gun he carried in a fanny pack after police received a tip. Mardochee Voltaire, of Stamford, was charged on Wednesday, Aug. 23, after members of the Stamford Police Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit received information from a resident. Alfonso “Heat” Lewis, age 37, of Stamford, was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 28, as part of a weeks-long investigation into drug sales in the city's West Side neighborhood, said Captain Richard Conklin, of the Stamford Police. Stamford Convicted Felon Nabbed With Gun Stamford Police nabbed a local man, who served four years of a 14-year sentence for shooting another man, with a gun while walking down the street, according to police. Jahmar aka "Red Hot" Rhyne, 28, of Stamford, was arrested around 1 p.m. Saturday on Spruce Street after off-duty Stamford Police Officer Matt Linnehan received information Rhyne was carrying a weapon and alerted on-duty officers of his whereabouts, said Capt.
