Alert Issued For Sisters Who've Gone Missing In Region Police are asking the public for help locating two sisters who have been reported missing in Western Massachusetts. The Hampden County residents, 14-year-old Hamailee Sevilla and 12-year-old Kailey Del-Valle, were reported missing by their mother on Tuesday, Aug. 24, said the Springfield Police. The department said they ran away from their Springfield home on Tuesday night. Sevilla is described as having red hair and is approximately 5-foot-4 and 145 pounds.  Del-Valle has dirty blonde hair, is 5-foot-2 and 150 pounds. Alert Issued For Missing 15-Year-Old Western Mass Girl A 15-year-old girl has gone missing and authorities in Western Massachusetts are asking the public's help in locating her. Chayra Montijo ran away from her Springfield home Sunday, May 2.  She may possibly in the North End or East Street/Page Blvd area or may have taken a ride service to Vermont, Springfield Police said. CT Homicide Suspect Nabbed In Massachusetts A man wanted in connection with the shooting death of a Connecticut man has been nabbed in Massachusetts. Jordon Register, 28, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 4, in Massachusetts by the Massachusetts State Police Fugitive Unit and Springfield Police for the Friday, Jan. 29, murder of Michael Dudley, 27, of  Durham, said Hartford Police Lt. Two Victims, One Arrest Following Workplace Shooting, Interstate Chase A suspect has been arrested and two victims were taken to the hospital after a workplace shooting and interstate highway chase that happened earlier this morning, Tuesday, Sept. 22. The suspect was arrested around 9:30 a.m. on I-91 in Longmeadow near the Connecticut-Massachusetts border. He has not been identified beyond being a Massachusetts male. Man Giving Out 'COVID Hugs' At Walmart Is Wanted By Police Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly gave customers “COVID hugs” at a Western Massachusetts Walmart. On Saturday, Aug. 15, at around 7:10 p.m., at the Walmart on Boston Road in Springfield, police said a man took an item out of a customer's hand and then gave him a hug. The man then allegedly said, “Just giving you a COVID hug. You now have COVID.” The suspect then laughed and walked away, police said.
