In New Haven County, the Hamden Police Department issued the alert for Thomas Passarello, who was last seen on Wednesday, December 8 at his home in the area of Dixwell Avenue and Route 15. The incident took place in Norwalk on Wednesday, Oct. 16, when the man got a ride from an Eveready Taxi Cab driver at the Darien Train Station and requested to be dropped off at Stop & Shop on Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, said Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake. Police On The Hunt For Fairfield County Purse Thief Shelton police are asking the public for help identifying a woman who stole the purse of an 86-year-old woman and then used her credit card to go shopping. The theft occurred around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, while the woman was shopping at the Shop Rite located at 875 Bridgeport Ave., in Shelton, said Shelton Police Det. Richard Bango.
