CT 9th-Grader Killed In Head-On Crash A Connecticut ninth-grade student was killed after crashing his dirt bike into another vehicle. The incident occurred in Hartford County around 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 8, in Suffield in the area of Cooper Hill Road at Woods Hollow Road. According to Capt. CT Woman Nabbed In Fatal Hit-Run Crash Police captured a 45-year-old Connecticut woman for a hit-and-run crash that killed a 47-year-old woman. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 10 p.m., Friday, in the area of Main Street and Boston Avenue in East Haven. East Haven Police said Gina LaVacca, of East Haven, was found suffering from life-threatening injuries and pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a sedan that fled the area. Man, 54, Killed After Pickup Truck Crashes Into House In Trumbull A 54-year-old pickup truck driver was killed in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Friday night, May 3 in Trumbull. A pickup truck and sedan were involved in the crash, with the pickup truck leaving the road and striking a private home on Daniels Farm Road near Heather Field Road at around 7 p.m., Trumbull Police said. No one was injured inside the residence and the home sustained only minor damage, police said.
