Gunfire Leads To Chase, Crash, Bridgeport Police Say Four people, including three juveniles, were arrested following a wild shooting of some 37 shots at an area apartment complex, a police pursuit, and finally a crash in a stolen vehicle in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 1:03 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, when Bridgeport Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert at the Charles F. Greene Homes Apartment Complex at Highland Avenue, said Scott Appleby, director of Bridgeport Emergency Management. Boy, Girl Nabbed After Stolen Car Police Chase Ends In Wilton Two teens who fled from a stolen vehicle were apprehended by officers after a police chase ended on the Route 7 connector in Fairfield County early Sunday morning. The police chase began after Wilton Police officers responded to a 911 call from an Old Huckleberry Road resident who reported several people were entering vehicles in the driveway. Norwalk Officer Injured When Stolen Truck Slams Into Cruiser During Chase NORWALK, Conn. -- Someone who stole a pickup truck in Norwalk early Tuesday morning intentionally backed into one cruiser and drove directly at another before crashing and running away, according to police. At around 3 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a home on Assisi Way for a report of a stolen vehicle. A description of the stolen vehicle, a Chevy pickup, was broadcast to all units, and moments later an officer spotted it traveling southbound on the Route 7 Connector.
