The crash took place on Monday, April 26, on Route 22 in Putnam County in the town of Southeast when a driver struck a vehicle while passing cars on the shoulder of the roadway, said Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. CT Duo Nabbed In Three-County Stolen Vehicle Chase Three people were arrested after a three-county stolen vehicle chase that started in Norhern Westchester County. The chase began around 10:10 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 3, New York State troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a 2015 Kia Forte for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on I-684 in the town of Bedford, said Trooper AJ Hicks.  The driver of the vehicle failed to comply and led the troopers northbound on a pursuit reaching speeds over 120 miles per hour, Hicks said. Fairfield County Man Accused Of Masturbating In Public Parking Lot A 23-year-old Fairfield County man was arrested for masturbating in a public parking lot in Putnam County, police said.  On Thursday, Dec. 10, State Police at the Brewster barracks said they responded to reports of a man masturbating in a public parking lot on Route 22 in the town of Southeast at approximately 7:15 p.m. Maxwell D. Cleary of Bethel was charged with the misdemeanor of public lewdness.  Cleary will appear in the town of Southeast Court in December to answer his charges.
