Bicyclist Seriously Injured In Route 1 Hit-Run Involving Pickup Truck Police are asking for the public's help in locating a pickup truck that struck a bicyclist and then fled the scene. The incident took place around 8:20 a.m. Sunday on Route 1, in Branford, said the Branford Police Department on Facebook. According to police, a white Ford Super Duty pickup truck driven by a white male struck the bicyclist near the intersection of Route 1 and Featherbed Lane. The driver then fled eastbound on Route 1.
