New Canaan Woman Nabbed For Driving Under Influence Of Drugs, Police Say A Fairfield County woman has been charged with allegedly driving under the influence of drugs after a vehicle crash. Patricia Pamela Petraglia, age 71, of New Canaan, was found sitting in a vehicle in the driveway of a Silvermine Road residence on Monday, March 4 after leaving a crash in Darien. According to Lt. Marc DeFelice of the New Canaan Police, officers spoke with the operator and identified her as Petraglia. Officers detected that Petraglia was impaired, however it was not due to alcohol.
