38-Year-Old Drowns In Trumbull Lake A Fairfield County man died after divers found his body at the bottom of a lake. The incident occurred in Trumbull around 7 p.m. at Pinewood Lake, in the Nichols section of town, on Wednesday, July 3. According to Lt. Brian Weir of the Trumbull Police, William Krahe, of Trumbull, was pulled from the water at Pinewood Lake.  He was transported to Saint Vincent’s Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead after police and fire department personnel located him underwater and brought him to shore, Weir said.
