A Connecticut mom has been arrested after allegedly leaving her 2-year-old home alone to go shopping. The child was found crying in New Haven County in Wolcott around 9:30 p.m., Thursday, May 19, according to police. Police officers responded to a home on Long Meadow Drive where a neighbor found a very young child wandering in the front yard all by himself, wet and crying, said the Wolcott Police. CT Man Rams Two Cruisers During Pursuit, Police Say
A Connecticut man was arrested by New York State Police for allegedly fleeing officers and ramming two police vehicles in an effort to escape before finally being apprehended in Westchester County. The incident started around 4 p.m. Thursday, June 24, when New York State Police were assisting the Mahwah, New Jersey, Police Department and South Nyack Police Department with a pursuit that entered I-287 and continued south on I-87, said Trooper Tara McCormick. A man has been arrested for an alleged sexual assault inside a Petco store in Fairfield County. The incident took place around 1:30 p.m., Saturday, March 27 in the Town of Fairfield. Fairfield officers Police were called to the Petco at 340 Grasmere Ave. after receiving a suspicious person complaint. A national pet supplies store will no longer sell electronic “shock” collars noting the devices may cause fear and anxiety in animals. PetCo announced on Tuesday, Oct. 6, that it would stop selling shock collars at all of its 1,500 stores in the United States and Mexico, the company said.
