The latest attack took place in Suffolk County at Seaview Beach on Fire Island around 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 13. Suffolk police said the Arizona man was in waist-deep water at Seaview Beach when he was bitten in the buttocks and on the left wrist. Suffolk County Police were altered to the situation after a 911 caller reported four people stranded in an inflatable raft drifting out to sea at 10:17 p.m., Sunday, June 6 in Wading River. Man Accused Of Attempting To Withdraw Money From Victim's Account Extradited To Greenwich A man was extradited Wednesday on a warrant for attempting to withdraw money from another person's bank account.  John Joseph Crane, 57, of Patchogue on Long Island, was arrested at the Nassau County Correctional Center by Greenwich Police on a warrant for an event that took place August, said the Greenwich Police Department. According to police, on August 6, Crane allegedly entered a local bank masquerading as a customer and attempted to withdraw money from that person's account.  Bank officials thought that Crane's behavior was suspicious and contacted police.
