A Connecticut man has been accused of violating an order of protection after traveling around 150 miles to commit a home invasion in upstate New York. Just before 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, New York State Police in Saratoga County responded to a home in the town of Wilton for the report of an assault with a knife. 19-Year-Old Charged With Violating Order Of Protection In New Canaan
A teenager in Fairfield County who was implicated in an alleged assault last month was taken into police custody after he allegedly violated a court-issued Order of Protection, police said. On Sunday, Jan. 5, investigators at the New Canaan Police Department received a report of an assault that took place between Arlind Bajraktari, 19, of New Canaan, and a friend. Man Posing As Teen Sentenced For Sex Assault Of Minor In Fairfield County
A 45-year-old man is heading to prison for sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in Fairfield County after posing as a teenager on the Internet. Torrington resident Christopher Galvin, 45, has been sentenced to five and a half years in prison, followed by 10 years probation after he pleaded guilty in January to second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and enticing a minor through a computer. Greenwich Police Nab Man For Violating Protective Order
Greenwich police arrested a Westchester man for violating an order of protection over the weekend. Christopher Brennan, 54, of White Plains, was arrested Friday after police responded to the Glenville section of town. Officers found the Brennan had violated a court order prohibiting contact with another person, according to the arrest report. He was held on $1,000. bail.

Westport Man Charged With Harassment After Restaurant, Residence Incidents
A Westport man is facing multiple charges after violating an Order of Protection and repeatedly harassing his victim on Valentine’s Day, police said. The Westport Police Department received a complaint on Thursday, Feb. 15 regarding Westport resident Neil Bhatia, who had met his victim the previous day at a local restaurant for dinner, during which he was allegedly “loud with the victim and at one point struck the victim’s wrist,” police said.
