Romance Scammer Nabbed Picking Up Cash In Wilton, Police Say
A 28-year-old man was nabbed for allegedly taking part in a romance scam in order to steal money from unsuspecting would-be lovers. Olutade Adeyemi Gboyega, of Stamford, was arrested on Friday, May 3, by Wilton Police after receiving a call from the Wilton Post Office about a possible shipment of a large amount of money to a vacant house in Wilton, which was linked to a romance scam in Mississippi, said Wilton Police Lt.
