CT Town Employee Caught Placing Fecal Matter Under Town Hall Door, Police Say A Connecticut man has been charged with breach of peace and criminal mischief after allegedly placing fecal matter under a door at a town hall. Litchfield County resident Christopher Jordano, age 40, of North Canaan was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 6, for the incident that took place in July at the North Canaan Town Hall. According to Connecticut State Police, Jordano allegedly entered the Town Hall building and placed what appeared to be fecal matter underneath a secured office door.  A Town Hall employee, Jordano was captured by security cameras on the premises, state police said. …

Fatal Crash: 44-Year-Old ID'd As Victim After SUV Slams Into Embankment, CT State Police Say A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash overnight in a residential neighborhood in Connecticut. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, July 1 in Litchfield County. A 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander was traveling northbound in North Canaan on Canaan Valley Road near Carlson Road when the SUV left the roadway, struck an embankment, and overturned, according to Connecticut State Police. The operator of the Outlander, Hartford County resident Deane William Moores, age 44, of Plainville, succumbed to injuries he suffered, said police. The crash is now under investigation.
