Police Dog Helps Foil CT Home Invasion, Capture Suspects After High-Stakes Chase: Cops A Connecticut home invasion led to a late-night beach chase, ending with a man and a juvenile in handcuffs thanks to a police dog named Rip, authorities said.  Milford police responded to a home on Milford Point Road around 2:45 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, after reports of an attempted car theft escalated into a home invasion. As officers arrived, they spotted a black BMW speeding away. Responding officers deployed stop sticks near Milford Point Road and Deerwood Avenue, forcing the car to stop. 5 Retailers Accused Of Selling Tobacco Products, E-Cigarettes To Minors After CT Detail Five Connecticut businesses were caught allegedly selling tobacco and e-cigarette to minors during a compliance check. The checks took place in New Haven County on Monday, Nov. 14 in Milford. The Milford Police Department working with the state Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services Tobacco Prevention and Enforcement Program conducted unannounced compliance inspections of establishments that sell tobacco products and/or electronic cigarettes. CT Woman Arrested After Violating Protective Order, Police Say A Connecticut woman was arrested for allegedly violating a protective order and kicking items and a man. Dawn Dominici, 57, of Milford, was arrested on Dec. 19, after Milford Police responded to a home on Milford Point Road address on the report of a possible domestic violence incident.  An investigation found that Dominici allegedly violated the conditions of a protective order by kicking items and pushing a man, Milford Police said.  She was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a $1,000 bond.  Dominici is scheduled to appear in court on Monday, Dec. 2…
