Fairfield Man Driving Under Influence Caught With Drugs In Wilton
A Fairfield man was busted for driving while under the influence and drug possession after police watched him blast through a stop sign in Wilton. Lucas Salazar, 26, was arrested 2:30 a.m. Sunday after officers observed him driving over the double yellow line on Ridgefield Road and then failed to stop at the stop sign on Center Street, said Wilton Police. Once stopped, officers could detect an odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle and the operator, police said. Salazar was administered a field sobriety test which he failed, they added.
