Son Charged After Father Dies Following Assault In CT A Connecticut man was charged after firefighters responded to a home for medical assistance which turned out to be an assault and a death. The incident took place in New Haven County around 2:50 p.m. on Monday, April 10 in Waterbury at 27 Platt St. Waterbury firefighters responded to the home and found a 67-year-old man who was unresponsive and was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital prior to police arrival on the scene, said Lt. Ryan Bessette, of the Waterbury Police. Third CT School Sheltering In Place Following Social Media Threat, Police Say A third Connecticut school is sheltering in place following a social media threat. The latest threat, in New Haven County, was directed at Crosby High School in Waterbury. The threat came on Tuesday, Sept. 27 via social media, said Lt.
