The trio, identified as Daniel Raymond Thomas, age 22, Clarence Gerald Davis, age 22, and 23-year-old Marcus Hunter, all of Fort Worth, Texas, were arrested Wednesday, Nov. 17, in Hartford County when the Southington Police responded to the Lowes Home Improvement, at 500 Executive Blvd S., on a report of a theft of large spools of wire in progress. Arno Smith, 57, of Hartford, pleaded guilty to one charge of a Hobbs Act robbery, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Connecticut, said. Hobbs applies in instances of interstate or foreign attempted or real robbery.
