The incident occurred in New Haven County around 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, in Meriden, in the area of Kroneberger Park. According to Lt. Darrin McKay of the Meriden Police Department, officers responded after 911 callers reported that a child had been driving the go-kart and sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash. Man Run Over By Tractor At Farm In Connecticut, Police Say A man was injured when he was run over by a tractor while working at a Connecticut farm. The incident took place around 1 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 18, at the Strawberry Farm located in Litchfield County in Washington, said the Connecticut State Police. Man Rescued After Nearly Drowning In Fairfield County A 35-year-old local man is lucky to be alive after nearly drowning in a restricted swimming area at Indian Well State Park in Shelton. The Milford resident was swimming in the area of the waterfalls when he began having trouble shortly before 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to DEEP officials.
