Police: Man Uses Vehicle To Strike Victim In Lewisboro Domestic Incident
A 40-year-old man is behind bars after state police say he menaced two victims and used his vehicle to strike one of them in a Northern Westchester domestic incident. Troopers responded to a domestic incident on Grandview Road in Lewisboro on Friday, Jan. 18. An investigation revealed Neil C. Smith of Lewisboro arrived unwelcomed at the victim’s residence and is alleged to have menaced the two, used his vehicle to strike one victim, causing non-life-threatening injuries, damaged property belonging to a victim, according to state police. Missing Dog Last Seen In Shopping Center Near Fairfield County Border
A dog last seen at a busy shopping center in Northern Westchester has gone missing and her owner is asking for the public's help in finding her. Reese is a yellow lab with a green collar, weighing 65 pounds. She went missing in the shopping center on Route 123 in the Lewisboro hamlet of Vista near the borders of New Canaan and Wilton around Thanksgiving time, owner Jill Townsend said. IDs Released For Victims Of Fatal Boating Accident At Area Reservoir
The identities have been released of the two men found dead after a New Year's Eve boating accident in a reservoir in Northern Westchester, New York State Police said. State Police have also confirmed that there are no additional fatalities involved in the incident at the Muscoot Reservoir in the hamlet of Goldens Bridge in the town of Lewisboro. The passage of time has only increased the uncertainty surrounding the disappearance of a Northern Westchester man 20 years ago. State Police from the Somers barracks are continuing to investigate the 1998 disappearance of Ralph Coppola. At the time of his disappearance, he was 41 years old and living in Lewisboro. A 61-year-old woman is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Route 121 in Northern Westchester with her bicycle, state police said. The incident took place around 6:37 p.m. Wednesday when the woman was attempting to cross Route 121 in Lewisboro in the hamlet of Cross River when she was struck by a northbound car, said Trooper AJ Hicks, spokesman for the New York State Police. There will be single and double lane closures on I-684 in Northern Westchester for several days as contracting crews continue maintenance activity in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert cautioning that there will be roadwork projects in North Salem, Lewisboro and North Castle beginning on Tuesday.
