Person Suffers Serious Injuries In Single-Vehicle Greenwich Crash One person was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash in Fairfield County.  The collision took place in Greenwich around 9:30 p.m., Sunday, March 31 at the intersection of King Street at Glenville Street. According to Capt. John Slusarz of the Greenwich Police, first responders at the scene found an unresponsive driver inside the vehicle who was transported to an area hospital for immediate medical treatment. Two Major Greenwich Roadways Closed Two Major Greenwich Roadways Closed
Two Major Greenwich Roadways Closed Police are warning motorists to avoid two main roadways in Greenwich that are closed in sections due to downed trees and wires. As of 4:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, North Street is closed by Hurlingham Drive due to a fallen tree and wires, according to dispatch reports. In addition, high winds have brought down another tree and wires, closing King Street between Anderson Hill Road and Stonehedge Drive. Police did not know how long repairs will take.
