Suspect In CT Parking Lot Murder Apprehended In Puerto Rico A Connecticut man wanted for the alleged deadly shooting of a man in the parking lot of a convenience store was apprehended in Puerto Rico and returned to face charges. Gelson Cruz, age 22, of Waterbury, was extradited to Waterbury by detectives assigned to the US Marshals Task Force on Wednesday, Nov. 30. Cruz was charged with the murder of Jordan Savage, age 26, of Waterbury in the parking lot of the Colonial Grocer on Colonial Avenue on Tuesday, Sept. 13, said Lt. Arrest Made In Robbery Of Elderly Fairfield County Woman At Mall Police detectives charged a 25-year-old man for robbing an elderly woman at the Westfield Trumbull Mall in August and stealing her car.  Jordan Savage, of Waterbury, was apprehended when he was stopped by Watertown Police on Friday, Nov. 1, and arrested without incident after they learned of the active warrant for his arrest out of Trumbull, said Trumbull Police Lt.
