CT Woman Killed Crossing Busy Roadway, Police Say A Connecticut woman was killed when she was hit by a Jeep Compass while crossing a busy roadway. Brenda Bradley, age 74, of New Haven, was killed around 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29, in Milford. According to the Milford Police Department, Bradley was crossing Boston Post Road near the traffic light at Costco and Bowlero when she was hit by the Jeep driving by Darleen Lee, age 68, address unknown. Two Killed In Crash At Busy Intersection In Connecticut Two people were killed in a crash at a busy Connecticut intersection in which one of the vehicles caught fire. The crash took place in Hartford County at 4:43 p.m., Monday, August 2, at the intersection of Windsor Avenue at Park Avenue in Windsor, said Capt. Andrew Power. With the assistance of citizens, arriving officers extricated and rendered aid to three injured persons, two of which were unresponsive, Power said. Fiat Chrysler Announces Recall Of 860,000 Vehicles Fiat Chrysler is recalling more than 800,000 vehicles as a result of routine testing under new emissions guidelines that have been adopted by the Environmental Protection Agency. The recall was the result of “in-use emissions investigations conducted by EPA and in-use testing conducted by Fiat Chrysler as required by EPA regulations,” the organization announced this week.
