41-Year-Old Killed After Crashing Into Telephone Pole In Norwalk A man was killed in a single-vehicle crash after striking a telephone pole in Fairfield County. The 41-year-old died around 8:20 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 4 in Norwalk after his motorcycle drove off the roadway and struck the pole in the area of 238 West Cedar St. According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, following the crash, the victim, Jared Taylor, a resident of Norwalk, was transported to Norwalk Hospital where he died from his injuries. Norwalk Man Busted In Wilton For Driving Recklessly In School Lot, Pursuit, Police Say A Fairfield County man was busted for allegedly driving recklessly through an elementary school parking lot and then taking police on a pursuit. Jared Taylor, age 40 of Norwalk was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023, for that incident that occurred in October 2023 in Monroe.  Taylor is accused of driving recklessly through an elementary school parking lot and then engaging officers in pursuit in a 1990 Ford F350 pickup truck with a juvenile in the back seat of the vehicle, said Deputy Chief Robert Cipolla of the Wilton Police.  He was charged with the following: R…
