Man Attempted To Deposit Fraudulent $22.4K Check, Police Say A 53-year-old man was busted by police on a warrant for fraud charges. Christopher Kocak, of Milford, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 9, by Milford Police after being contacted by the  Iberia, Louisiana Sheriff’s Office in regards to a fraud that occurred on Nov. 11, 2019, said Milford Police. An investigation was conducted and detectives found that Kocak attempted to deposit a fraudulent check in the amount of $22,460.00 into his People’s Bank account.
