Westport Road Paving Gets Underway To Fix Those Potholes, Here's Where It's summer and that means it's time to go to the beach and not as fun, pave the roads to get rid of those pesky potholes. The Westport Public Works Department said on Thursday, May 11 that paving will get underway on Monday, May 15, and continue through mid-June. Know Her? Chocolate Labrador Retriever Found In Westport Do you know her? Members of the Westport Police Department are hopeful of reuniting an elderly chocolate Labrador that was recently found near a High Point Road home. She is currently being held at Westport Animal Control. Police said that the “shelter staff firmly believes she is someone's dog and would like to do all that we can to reunite her with her family in the twilight years of her life.” Anyone who recognizes the dog, or knows its owners has been asked to contact Westport Animal Control by calling (203) 341-5076.
