3 Overdose In Bridgeport Apartment In Front Of Children, Police Say Police are investigating after three people were found overdosing in a Fairfield County apartment. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 9:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 13 after a resident of the Greene Homes Apartments located on Harral Avenue reported their neighbor was unresponsive, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for the City of Bridgeport.   Bridgeport Fire and AMR were dispatched to the incident where they found three people who appeared to be suffering from a possible overdose, Appleby said. One Dead, One Wounded In Shooting Inside Fairfield County Restaurant One person was killed and another injured during a shooting inside a Fairfield County restaurant.  The shooting took place around 12:55 a.m., Sunday, July 11 at the Copa Restaurant located at the intersection of  Lexington Avenue and Harral Avenue in Bridgeport. When Bridgeport police arrived on the scene they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds, said Captain Kevin Gilleran. The victims were quickly transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital. Pedestrian Injured In Hit-Run Crash A pedestrian was hospitalized with injuries after a hit-and-run crash in Fairfield County. It happened just before 2 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16 at the intersection of Harral Avenue and Pequonnock Street in Bridgeport. The vehicle did not stop after the incident and Bridgeport Police investigators are reviewing various surveillance cameras in the area.  The pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening facial injuries, Bridgeport Police said.
