Cat Burglar: Suspect Stole From Fairfield County Hotel Room, Still On Loose Police are looking for a suspect who burglarized a hotel room in Shelton and walked away with a cat and several other stolen items.  The burglary happened on Sunday, Jan. 22 at an unspecified hotel in Shelton when an unknown suspect was able to enter a room without forcing entry, according to Shelton Police.  The suspect was able to make off with a Fendi and Gucci bag, as well as the victim's hairless cat, Princess. Greenwich Fraud Suspect Bought $2.4K Gucci Bag, $312 Jacket, Police Say A Greenwich resident was the victim of identity theft after a person made a fraudulent credit card transaction in their name at Saks Fifth Avenue worth thousands of dollars. Greenwich police said they are reviewing surveillance video after the resident reported to store security that someone had charged a $312 jacket and a $2,400 Gucci handbag on Friday while they were out of town, according to Lt. John Slusarz. Slusarz said the charges are under investigation.
