Man Nabbed For DUI Following Wilton Crash, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been charged with allegedly driving under the influence after running into the back of another car. The incident occurred in Wilton on Thursday, March 21 at the intersection of of Danbury Road and Grumman Hill Road. Drunk Driver Nabbed For DUI At Over 2 Times Legal Limit In Wilton, Police Say A 45-year-old man faces drunk driving charges after being caught at more than twice the legal limit in Fairfield County, police said. The man was arrested on Monday, Feb. 12 on drunk driving charges in Wilton. According to the Wilton Police Department, on the day of Meija-Delpinal's arrest at around 1:45 a.m., officers pulled over a black 2020 Ford F-150 truck that had been traveling east on Grumman Hill Road.  The driver, identified as Carlos Meija-Delpinal, a resident of Wilton, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and admitted to drinking before driving. Police: Wilton Man, 22, Who Fled Into Woods After Crash Under The Influence Wilton police arrested an area man after he wrecked his vehicle and then fled into the woods before being apprehended by police. John O'Donnell Underwood, 22, of Wilton, was taken into custody around 2:18 p.m. Saturday, after Wilton police responded to a report of a rollover crash on Grumman Hill Road, said Lt.
