Man Rescued From Overturned Boat On Long Island Sound A Stamford man was rescued off of an overturned boat in Long Island Sound by the Greenwich Police Marine Section, said the Greenwich Police. The incident took place around 11:35 a.m., Monday, April 22, when Greenwich Police were contacted about a boat overturned by Lucas Point, said Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.  Marine officers responded and discovered a 46-year-old male who was holding onto the hull of an overturned boat, Slusarz said.
