18-Year-Old Charged With Fairfield Home Invasion, Assault An 18-year-old man has been charged with allegedly breaking into a Fairfield County home and assaulting a man as he slept. The incident took place in Fairfield on Sunday, Oct. 22 around 7:20 a.m. According to Fairfield Police, the victim called 911 to report that he had just been assaulted while asleep. Once on the scene, the victim told police he woke up "dazed and confused" as a man identified as Gabriel Garcia-Gonzalez, hometown unknown, was punching him in the face.
