Man Struck, Killed Walking In Travel Lanes On CT Roadway Connecticut State Police are asking for witnesses after a 53-year-old man was struck and killed while walking in the travel lanes of I-91. The crash occurred in North Haven around 9:15 p.m., Monday, April 1 on I-91 northbound adjacent to Exit 9. Connecticut State Police reported that Arthur Taylor, of New Haven, was walking in the travel lanes when a 2020 Ford Explorer struck him. Taylor was thrown into the grass center median where he was pronounced dead on the scene, state police said. A Silver Alert has been issued on Saturday, Feb. 9 for Oxford resident Brandon Stiven, who is around 6-foot-1 and 160 pounds. Stiven may be driving a 2007 maroon Ford Explorer, Oxford Police said. Police said that Tariq Yacub is wanted by the Town of Southeast Court after he fled from troopers on I-84 on July 9. Yacub also has a warrant out for his arrest in Steuben County for a separate incident. Yacub was last seen traveling in a tan 2003 Ford Explorer with a Maryland registration 2DF6209. He is known to travel between Maryland, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. …
