Stamford Convicted Felon Charged With Having Assault-Style Guns
A Fairfield County man was busted for allegedly having several guns, including an assault rifle and semi-automatic pistol.
Anthony Hicks, age 42, of Stamford, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 18 following an investigation by the Stamford Police Department's Narcotics and Organized Crime unit.
According to Assistant Chief Rich Conklin, during the investigation, agents learned that Hicks, who is a convicted felon, was storing multiple firearms, including a Draco-stye assault rifle in his apartment.

Three Fairfield County men have been charged with the alleged sale of drugs following a four-month investigation.
The men were arrested in Norwalk on Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 21 Osborne Ave.
According to Norwalk Deputy Chief Terrence Blake, the arrests come on the heels of a four-month investigation into drug sales in Norwalk.
During the warrant search, investigators seized crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, cash, and a Taurus 9mm handgun with an extended magazine, Blake said.

Duo Charged For Crack Cocaine Transaction In CT, Police Say
A man and a woman were charged after police said the man was seen selling "eight balls" of crack cocaine to the woman in Connecticut.
Bashaun Faison, age 31, and 52-year-old Michele Annette Abbott, both of Torrington, were arrested on Wednesday, Sept 21, in Litchfield County, Connecticut State Police said.
While investigating reports about narcotics sales in the area of the Torrington Towers Housing Complex, detectives saw Faison selling two "eight balls" of crack cocaine to Abbott, police said.

A convicted felon has been nabbed for an attempted armed home invasion while the family was inside the home.
The incident took place around 4:30 p.m., Sunday, July 31 in Waterbury.
Officers responded on a report a man was attempting to force entry into a residential home with a firearm while a family was inside, said Lt. Robert Davis, of the Waterbury Police.
