A swerving driver in a 2013 Honda Civic on Route 7 in Wilton near the Zion Hill Church was stopped by officers at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, after he was spotted crossing the double yellow lines, prompting the traffic stop. Old Greenwich resident Michael Napoli, 25, was stopped by police in Greenwich after blowing through multiple traffic lights, failing to signal and speeding on I-95, according to police.  After failing to stop at the lights, it is alleged that Napoli then traveled at speeds exceeding 100 mph on I-95 south, weaving between lanes. Greenwich Police stopped a vehicle on East Putnam Avenue that was driving erratically and had sustained significant damage to the front end on Sunday, Feb. 10 around 2 a.m. Officers say the vehicle did not stop for about 100 yards. Michael Norrholm, of Norwalk, was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 2 after Wilton Police received a report from a resident of a 2013 white Ford Focus driving erratically northbound on Belden Hill Road, said Wilton Police. Weston Motorist Who Crosses Double Yellow Line Driving Under The Influence, Greenwich PD Says Police nabbed a 30-year-old area man for DI after he was stopped for failing to maintain a single lane while driving. Benjamin Knudsen of Weston was arrested on Saturday, Dec. 22 after being stopped on Hamilton Avenue in Greenwich for driving over the double yellow line and failing to stay in his lane, said Lt. Martin O'Reilly. When officers spoke with Knudsen they could see he had bloodshot, glassy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from his breath, police said.
