Missing Front Plate Results In DUI Charge For New Canaan Woman, Police Say A Fairfield County woman landed in handcuffs after police stopped her for a missing front license plate. Margaret Jean Marshall, age 49, of New Canaan, was charged on Friday, Feb. 2, after she was stopped on Cherry Street for driving without a front license plate, said Lt. Marc DeFelice, of the New Canaan Police. DeFelice said that while speaking with Marshall, the officer detected an odor of alcohol and signs of impairment. Man Posing As DOT Worker Nabbed On CT Roadway: Police A Massachusetts man was arrested in Connecticut after officers said he posed as a government worker in an attempt to steal. It happened on Monday, Nov. 20 in the Hartford County town of Manchester, according to Connecticut State Police. At approximately 8:30 that morning, 49-year-old John Seeley of Springfield, Massachusetts was reportedly seen on the side of I-384 West wearing a reflective construction gear and a hard hat. Stamford Woman Nabbed In Darien For Driving Improperly-Licensed Car: Police A Fairfield County woman said the person she bought a car from took care of the paperwork, but the car did not have the proper license or registration.  Jennifer Monahan, of Stamford, was arrested around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1 for driving a car without proper registration, insurance, or license on Old Kings Highway in Darien, according to the Darien Police Department.
