Stamford Man Charged In Love Triangle Stabbing Murder A Stamford man who has been held for more than two months following the stabbing death of a man involved in a love triangle has been formally charged with the victim's murder. IDs Released For Victim, Suspect In Fatal Stabbing In Stamford Police have released the identities of both the man stabbed to death in Stamford and the man being questioned in the case. Enrique Gutama, 53, of Stamford, was identified as the man found lying on a sidewalk around 10 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, at the intersection of Cove and Frederick streets, said Stamford Police Capt. Richard Conklin. The suspect in the case, Alonzo Perez-Mateo, 30, also of Stamford, is being held on two prior warrants, including one in which he ran over a man with his vehicle, said Conklin.
