According to Danbury Police, the shooting took place in Fairfield County around 10:35 p.m., Sunday, July 12, in the area of Beaver Street and Elm Street, said Detective Lt. Mark Williams. Police responded to the area after receiving calls regarding a man shot in the area, Williams said. Daniel Christopher, 39, of 9 Foster St. was arrested for criminal attempt to commit robbery, threatening, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct, following the attempted robbery at Valentin Travel, said Det. 3 Men Arrested In Armed Robberies At Bodegas, Liquor Stores In Danbury DANBURY, Conn. — Three men have been arrested in a series of armed robberies at several bodegas and liquor stores in Danbury since September, and more arrests are expected, police said Wednesday. Danbury detectives identified the three suspects, who are believed to have been involved in most, if not all, of these reported crimes.
