45-Year-Old Dead After Jumping From Metro-North Train In Fairfield County This story has been updated. Train service has resumed after a 45-year-old man jumped from a Metro-North train. The incident took place at approximately 11:27 a.m., Thursday, May 6, as the westbound train was traveling in Fairfield County between Westport and East Norwalk, said Aaron Donovan, spokesman for the MTA. Surprise Snake Doesn't Stop Norwalk Police Officers Police officers are used to all kinds of emergency calls, but one call Thursday stopped them in their tracks, though only for a moment. Norwalk police responded to a call in East Norwalk to find a person in need of medical care with a large boa constrictor around their neck and shoulders, said Norwalk Lt. Terry Blake.
