Man Masturbates In Shopping Plaza At Least Twice, Newtown Police Say A Bethel man has been arrested for allegedly masturbating with his penis exposed while sitting in his vehicle in a shopping plaza, not once, but at least twice, Newtown Police said. Newtown received the reported of the masturbating man last week while in his vehicle at the Sand Hill Shopping Plaza, said Newtown Police Lt. Aaron Bahamonde. Teen Stolen Car Suspect Nabbed While Appearing In Court On Unrelated Charge In Newtown Police nabbed a stolen car suspect on an active warrant while he was appearing in court on an unrelated charge. Bryan Gomez, 18, of Newtown, was spotted Newtown Police at Danbury Court on Thursday where he was appearing in court for an unrelated charge and placed him under arrest for an active arrest warrant, said the Newtown Police. The warrant stemmed from an incident in October where a stolen Volkswagen Jetta was abandoned on Bancroft Road near the intersection with Pole Bridge Road after getting into a collision on the highway, police said.
