Olajuwon Raheem Clarke, age 29, homeless, was taken into custody in Brooklyn for the Monday, Nov. 20 stabbing of a Stamford man on a CT Transit bus, said Capt. Tom Scanlon of the Stamford Police. Witnesses reported that the CT Transit bus stopped at the bus stop and a man got on the bus and engaged the victim in an argument. Man Charged After Attempting To Enter Elementary School In Fairfield County, Police Say A man from out of state has been charged after police said he attempted to enter an elementary school in Fairfield County. Just after 1 p.m. on Friday, May 27, school administrators in Stamford from Davenport Elementary School on Newfield Avenue noticed a suspicious man on the school campus, and immediately initiated a lockdown, according to Captain Diedrich Hohn, Commander of Special Investigations for the Stamford PD. Woman Struck, Killed By CT Transit Bus A Connecticut woman was hit and killed by a bus. The crash took place around 6:45 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 21, in New Haven. New Haven Police responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian being struck by a CT Transit bus, on Chapel Street, between Orange Street and Church Street. According to Officer Scott Shumway, responding officers located the victim, a 40-year-old New Haven woman, who was later pronounced dead on the scene.
