Woman Severely Injured During 'Senseless' Robbery By Stamford Teen, Police Say
A Stamford teen has been charged with allegedly severely injuring a woman during a robbery as she was leaving work.
Roberto Carlos Herrera-Aleman, age 18, was charged on Thursday, Jan. 26, with robbery in connection with the Wednesday, Jan. 11 incident in the area of 201 Broad St., near Ferguson Library, said Stamford Assistant Police Chief Richard Conklin.

The death of a 26-year-old Connecticut resident from fentanyl poisoning at a bachelor party in the state of Florida has led to the arrest of an Alabama man on murder charges.
John Nabors, 26, of Mountain Brook, Alabama, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 30 for the incident that killed Fairfield County resident Thomas "Tom" Gleason of Ridgefield.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for the capture of a Connecticut man wanted for allegedly killing his 11-month-old daughter and dismembering her body.
The homicide took place in New Haven County in the 100 Block of Millville Ave. in Naugatuck on Friday, Nov. 18.
Christopher Francisquini, age 31, of Naugatuck, whose police say has an extensive criminal history, killed the child, Camilla, and then fled, said the Naugatuck Police.

Fairfield County Duo Charged In Overnight Burglaries, Police Say
Two Fairfield County men were charged in connection with two overnight burglaries.
The incidents took place in Norwalk on Thursday, Nov. 3 in the area of Kermit Street and Rome Street.
According to Lt. Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Police, the department received a call around 7:15 a.m., Thursday, of a residential burglary on Kermit Street that took place in the overnight hours.
While police were on the scene, they received another complaint from a neighboring address that had its vehicle entered and items stolen, Dinho said.

Man, Woman Found Dead At Home In Residential CT Neighborhood
Police are investigating after a man and a woman were found dead inside a quiet residential neighborhood in Connecticut.
The two were found in Hartford County around 5:45 p.m., Friday, Oct. 28 in Vernon.
According to Lt. Robert Marra, of the Vernon Police Department, officers responded to the home at 21 Vinetta Drive for a report of two "untimely deaths."
Upon the officers' arrival, they located a man and a woman who had died from gunshot wounds, Marra said.
The victims have been identified as Anthony Priester, age 61, and Karen Priester, age 60, both of Vernon, he added.

Armed, Dangerous Suspect Wanted In Fairfield County Murder Caught, Police Say
A man who was considered armed and dangerous and wanted for a stabbing homicide in Fairfield County has been apprehended by police.
Lawrence Blue, age 45, of Bridgeport, was caught hours after the word went out on Saturday, Oct. 29, that he was wanted for the early morning stabbing death of 23-year-old Justice Hunter of Bridgeport, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police.
The homicide was discovered around 4:15 a.m. Saturday, when Bridgeport officers responded to the 800 block of Atlantic Street on the report of a party stabbed at that location, Gilleran said.
