Two men have been charged with allegedly carjacking a man at gunpoint when they met with him about purchasing a BMW he posted online to sell. The incident took place in Fairfield at the TJ Maxx parking lot located at 425 Tunxis Hill Cutoff around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26. According to Lt. Michael Paris of the Fairfield Police, the man met with two men in the store parking lot in an attempt to sell his car. Two Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries In Fairfield County Crash
Two people were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following a crash in Fairfield County. Police responded to the crash in the town of Fairfield at the intersection of Commerce Drive and Coolidge Street at about 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, according to the Fairfield Police Department. Investigators found that a motorcycle traveling south on Coolidge Street entered the intersection and collided with a van that was westbound on Commerce Drive, police said. Man Who Failed To Pull Over For Police Nabbed After I-95 Chase, Crash In Fairfield County
A 24-year-old man who failed to stop for a routine traffic stop was nabbed by police following a chase and a crash in Fairfield County. Hasan T. Fleming of Bridgeport was arrested Tuesday after he failed to stop for a Fairfield Police officer conducting a routine traffic stop in the area of Commerce Drive and Coolidge Street, said Fairfield Police Lt. Robert Kalamaras. Fleming engaged officers in pursuit onto I-95 southbound and struck a citizen’s vehicle during the pursuit.
