Four Hospitalized After Two-Vehicle I-84 Crash, CT State Police Say Four people were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on I-84 in Connecticut.  The crash happened at about 1:50 a.m. on Sunday, March 13, on I-84 Westbound near Entrance 56 ramp in East Hartford, according to Connecticut State Police. While traveling at a high rate of speed, a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport struck a 2002 Toyota Carolla from behind, police said.  Authorities said the Hyundai rolled over and came to a rest on its roof in the left lane, and the Toyota spun out off the roadway and came to a rest on the shoulder. Retired CT State Trooper Killed By Single Punch On Las Vegas Strip A Massachusetts man who was a retired Connecticut State Police Trooper was recently killed by a single-punch he absorbed while taking in the Las Vegas strip. On Monday, March 1, police said that sometime early on Sunday, Feb. 28, Thomas W. Driscoll, 57, of Chicopee died from head and neck injuries sustained in a homicide, according to U.S. News and World Report.
